I am quite happy that I have successfully created a new template to my Blogger's Template Series. I named the newly created template "The Red Template". The new template is not whole red but some parts of the template are red in color. I tried my best to choose the best red color and I am sure that the red color I have chosen will not hurt your eyes.

adding java script to your web
Did you ask yourself why in blogspot posts some javascript code works but in some cases don't. In this article you will find answer.
In HTML\Jscript gadgets jscript code work well. But this is not a case in posts.
For example I added this code to my blogspot post and it didn't working.

I couldn't understand why this code doesn't working in blogspot post but in my HTML editor work.
Later I found that this jscript code works well in blogspot post:

Conclusion is that if you put jscript code inside quote code will work. But I was not satisfied with this because I wanted to use jscript function and reuse function code (for example function showMessage() called from multiple places in post). And I didn't find answer how to put jscript function in quote.
Somewhere I founded tip to make jscript file with jscript code and put this file on the web. After that call jscript function addressing that file.

Display advertising: towards creativity without limits

There’s no doubt that advertisers today are increasingly seeking to run campaigns that are highly measurable and relevant to users. That’s one of the benefits of advertising on the Internet. But great ad campaigns are about more than clicks or numbers. The best campaigns are so memorable and effective because they make an emotional bond with us. The very best can engage us, move us and make us feel a connection with the brand that’s being promoted. That’s the real creative genius of advertising.

Some in google industry have asked why google aren’t seeing more creative display ad campaigns like these. In google view, it’s definitely not because of a lack of creativity or an unwillingness to experiment. The problem to date has been the lack of tools and technologies necessary to do this at scale across the Internet.
It takes hard work to create, serve and measure the impact of these ads. Under the hood, there’s a lot of technology that needs to come together for them to work seamlessly. Take the Harley Davidson ad: It contains dozens of complex creative elements, integrations with various technologies like Flash, numerous APIs, Twitter and Facebook, and multiple parties involved in its creation and delivery — from the creative agency, to teams at Google, through to the ad operations teams at the publisher. You could spend hundreds or thousands of hours building out creative concepts and ads like this, but ultimately only run them on a few sites because the customization takes so much time to implement across the web.
We believe that technology, by streamlining and eliminating some of the hard work involved, and by offering new creative possibilities, can be a great enabler of more creative ads.
What if it were seamless to serve and run highly creative ad units — not just on one site, but on thousands of sites, and also in videos and on mobile phones? Using image recognition, the app could recognize that it's a billboard for a particular shoe brand, show an expandable ad for that brand, let you choose to watch a video of one of their shoes in action, display all the nearest stores on an accompanying map, and include a way for you to order a shoe and pick it up on your way home from work.
That’s just one example of what one day will be possible in the world of display advertising. It’s the goal of google display advertising efforts to produce the tools and technologies to allow for this type of unbridled creativity at a grand scale.

Earlier this month google added stars in search so that you can easily mark and rediscover your favorite websites. Today google debuting lists in Google Bookmarks, an experimental new feature that helps you easily share those sites with friends.
Bookmarks are a great way to keep track of your favorite content across the web and we want to help you share them with your friends. To use lists, visit Google Bookmarks at google.com/bookmarks or by clicking “Manage all” in your Google Toolbar. From there, select the links you want to share and click “Copy to list.” Lists are private by default, but once you’ve created one you can share it with specific friends or even publish it to the web. For example, if a friend of yours is visiting Seattle for the first time and you have some local attractions bookmarked, you might want to create a new list for “Seattle attractions” and share it with your friend.
Sharing lists can help you collaborate with your friends on common interests or activities. Let’s say you’re planning a group trip to Paris. With a list, everyone can contribute useful links and resources, such as packing lists, hotel links, flight information and attractions. You could also create lists for your favorite hobbies, and then share them with friends who share your interests. Lists dynamically generate previews for many pages so you can get a sense of the site before clicking.
Lists also help you discover new web content. For example, once you’ve created your list of favorite Seattle attractions, Google will algorithmically analyze your list to identify other potentially relevant links, such as the Seattle Aquarium. Getting Targeted Traffic to your Blog using Google Adword
Google Adwords is a great tool to drive targeted traffic to your blog. You can target specific keywords from your blog that you know people will be searching for. You’ll know the keywords from having done your research on search trends and competition when you set up your blog. Which obviously means you are putting your ad in front of a hungry audience (the best kind!).
Now there’s a lot of free and paid for information out there for Adwords. I started out by using Google Cash, it was recommended to me by a writing newsletter I subscribe to (Google Cash 3 has recently been released). I also subscribed to any free courses that I came across (they are after your email address but you can always unsubscribe afterwards).
But don’t forget Google itself! adwords.google.com explains exactly what adwords does and the best way to utilise it. It also has a help centre that’s crammed full of information, demo’s, guides, troubleshooting and FAQ’s. The information is useful and they take you through each step in producing an adwords ad. It’s all free to use, just sign up for an account and have a look around

Get Traffic tro your blogs from Emails!
So how can you get traffic to your blog from emails?
Add your blog address to your email signature like we did with forums. You can add a message to the signature, inviting your recipient to pass your information on to a friend if they enjoyed your blog.
Then every time you email your list (if you have one) or family or friends, then your blog address is sent with it, giving you more exposure. And hopefully if they do enjoy your blog and pass it on, then it can become viral and bring in traffic for your blog over some time!

How To Find A Profitable Adsense Niche
The profitability of an Adsense niche is primarily based on the amount that Adwords advertisers are spending to compete in that niche.
Remember that an Adsense ad is only an Adwords ad that is appearing on your site and not Google. The amount that an ad generates per click is therefore directly related to the amount that Adwords advertisers are paying per click. Bottom line - if they are paying more we earn more.
So how can you find out which niches (and which keywords inside those niches) advertisers are spending more money on?
I use two different methods:
1. Keyword Research With Keyword Country
As you will have probably have started to gather I cannot lay enough praise on this tool. In fact I struggle to understand how I researched, chose and targeted niche sites before I got hold of it...it's that good. Aswell as being able to search by category or keyword you can also search by price range. For example, you can decide to find keywords that have an average cpc of say between $18 and $20. If you enter this price range it will return a list of keywords which fall inside that parameter - in this case - 3957 different keyword phrases.
The top 5 rated keywords in this cpc range were: "credit card", "free credit report", "mortgage rates", "consolidate debt" and "website hosting". All you need to do is go down the list work out which ones would be suitable for an Adsense monetized information site, extend your keyword research by taking your chosen phrase and entering it into the search box, build the content, integrate the Adsense and promote your new website.
2. Affiliate Analysis With CJ
A different method is to forget keywords for a minute and to focus on markets and their advertisers. Adwords advertisers are made up of two types of people - companies and affiliates. We can't easily find out how much companies are making but we can find out how much their affiliates are by joining up to a third part affiliate network like Commission Junction (CJ), which connects companies that are selling products and website publishers like me and you who are willing to promote them for a commission.
My premise is that if you find the markets that are profitable for affiliates you will find the markets that are profitable for Adsense monetized sites. Why? Because a profitable market is one that you can spend a good sum of money on advertising and still make a healthy return.
Where the affiliates are earning good money, the companies and the affiliates will be spending big money on Adwords advertising.
You can find which markets are profitable in CJ by using their catrgory lists and sorting features. Once logged in simply follow this process:
1. Click on Get Links > this will take you to a categorical listing of all the advertiser programs.
2. Choose A Market From The Category List > this will bring up all the advertiser programs inside that niche category.
4. Click "3 Month EPC" > this will bring the top performing affiliate programs in that niche to the top of the pile. EPC stands for "earnings per click" (at CJ this is earnings per 100 clicks) and illustrates on average how much affiliates are earning for each set of 100 people they direct to that program. For example, the top performer in the financial services niche is a company specialising in mortagage refinance and equity release, with a massive 3 month epc of $354.90.
Now I have my profitable niches - "mortgage refinance" and "equity release" - I go to Keyword Country to see if my theory is correct. If I type in those two keyword phrases, Keyword Country will return to me average cpc, number of searches, competition, number of Adwords advertisers and profitablity rating for every keyword related to those two seperate niches. If I'm right the average CPC for these two keywords will be very high.
This is what Keyword Country told me:
Mortgage Refinance - average cpc $27.17 across 823 related keywords.
Equity Release - average cpc $10.145.
The theory proved correct and I've found two profitable niches that I could build a mini informational site around. In addition, I would integrate the appropriate high paying affiliate program which would give me a second means of monetizing my traffic.
There are hundreds and hundreds of these niches you just have to do the research and find them. If you're using the correct method and know where and how to look you'll be able to build a targeted site around a profitable niche within a few days. Again, these type of mini targeted sites are best and most effectively built using XSitePro.

sites to get more traffic
Once you’ve submitted your blog to those directories, they will categorize you, and your blog will “ping” their servers every time you’ve created/updated a posting on your blog, which is a fancy way of saying “you’ve informed them that you’ve updated your blog”, which in simple terms…This does great things for your blog in terms of search engine optimization.
Once you’ve added your blog to the directories, the next important thing you need to do is submit your postings to the major Social Media Networking sites, such as StumbleUpon, Digg, Del.icio.us, and more. While it’s not required that you add every posting that you post, I do recommend it – or at least the majority of your postings. If you think somebody would be interested in reading a particular posting – submit it. It’s only going to help you in the end. Now, I bet you’re wondering how many Social Media Networks do I need to submit my article to? Well – that’s up to you, as a blogger. The more you submit to, the more traffic you’ll see and more exposure you’ll get, but, it can be time consuming. Building Inbound Links
Another critical method for getting traffic to your blog in through by establishing links to your site on other people's webpages. This servers two purposes for your blog. First, a link on someone else's site can be clicked on thus bringing a visitor to your site. Secondly, links on other sites pointing to your site factor into the equations that Google, Yahoo and MSN use to determine the order in which sites are listed in searches conducted on their site. These types of links are referred to as "inbound" links.
When you try to develop inbound links it is important to make sure that the links are relevant. For example, if your blog is about cars then it doesn't do a lot of good to have an inbound link from a website about vacation spots. Your goal is to get inbound links on sites similar to your blog or, at a minimum, sites that target the same type of people (age, gender, interest, etc.) as your blog.
To begin developing inbound links, do a search for other blogs that are relevant to your blog. If your blog is about cars then search "cars" in Blogger Search or Technorati (two of the bigger blog search engines). Browse through the results that you get and make a list of those that you think are well designed and interesting. In order to get a link on those blogs you will most likely have to give something in return and usually the easiest thing to give is a link to them. So from that list add a link on your blog for each of the blogs that you liked. Then, after doing so, email the owner of each of those site and write something along the lines of:
"Hello, my name is John and I write for Crazy Cars, a blog about cars. I've recently added a link to your site on my homepage because I feel that my readers are in a very similar demographic to that of your site. If you get a chance check my site out and if you like what you see please link back.
Thank you, John"
Remember that these blog owners don't owe you anything for you linking to them, but often if you ask nice you'll get a link back.

Over the coming weeks a major Google update, commonly referred to as Big Daddy, is taking place that will undoubtedly affect your blog's traffic from Google. Internet Marketers assign names to these updates much the same way the weather service names hurricanes. Last October it was Jagger, before that we had the infamous Florida Update in late 2003, and Austin in early 2004.
Each update is designed to improve search results by either doing a better job of identifying high-quality content on the Internet, or by doing a better job of suppressing low-quality content.
Over the last two or three weeks, many website owners have seen traffic to their sites from Google fluctuate quite a bit. This is normal for algorithm updates – as the index is updated on one data center, a site will change positions. The fluctuations occur because the index in the new data center is not completely built, and therefore a site may be placed artificially high or low until all the data is brought into equilibrium.
A few days ago, Google completed a major overhaul of its algorithm – this one dubbed BigDaddy and in the world of search engine updates it's a category 5 hurricane; well, sort of.
You see, after all the turmoil of the past three weeks or so, most marketers are probably seeing their websites ranked more or less where they were about a month ago. This is unusual. Usually major algorithm changes result in significant changes in site rankings for virtually all sites on the Internet. Both the Florida and Jagger updates changed the landscape of Google's Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) dramatically.
So, What's the Big Deal About BigDaddy?
At first glance, the BigDaddy update seems to be much ado about nothing. However, there are some welcome changes that have been included in this update that should make Google a much friendlier place for those of us who build valuable content-rich websites.
* - Increasing size and scope of the index – One of the purposes of this latest update was to increase the size of the index itself. This will allow Google to dig deeper into your site and catalog even more of your content (HTML, JavaScripts, Flash, etc).
* - URL Canonicalization – Yes, it's a scary word, but it's actually quite simple. Essentially, canonicalization is determining which URL is the most appropriate for a given page. For example, the following URLs are all valid ways of reaching the homepage of ProfitChoice.com:
o - http://www.profitchoice.com
o - http://profitchoice.com
o - http://www.profitchoice.com/index.asp
o - http://profitchoice.com/index.asp
By improving URL Canonicalization, Google is attempting to make sure your site gets credit even though the URLs might be spelled differently on different websites.
* - No More Page Hijacking – Although not a common problem, there are unscrupulous jerks out there who will find a popular site and hijack it's content by using 302 redirects. Google is attempting to eliminated the ability to do this effectively – hopefully they are succeeding.
* - New Spider – You will also see a new Google spider called Mozilla Bot instead of the old familiar GoogleBot. If you are into looking at server logs, the new agent is "Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
* - Less Search Engine Spam – continuing with the recent trends, Google seems hell-bent on eliminating the effectiveness of purchased keywords and link farms. If you are still employing these "black-hat" techniques, then you probably just found out about the BigDaddy update the hard way. If you didn't, then you will probably be hearing from BigDaddy soon.
BigDaddy Foretells More Changes To Come
In the immediate aftermath of a major update like BigDaddy, there are a number of things you can expect to happen.
The first is that your website's PageRank (PR) will probably change over the next few weeks. If you've been doing the things that Google likes, then you will likely see your PR improve, if you are engaged in unscrupulous (by Google's standards) activities, then you can expect your PR to go down. To see a list of what Google likes visit http://www.google.com/webmasters/.
In addition, some of your site's older content will be re-crawled and older, unlinked content will probably be removed from the index.
Over the next few months, there will also likely be a series of smaller updates that will take advantage of the new "infrastructure" provided by the BigDaddy update. Flash-heavy sites that were held artificially low may move up in the rankings while sites that rely heavily on reciprocal linking will likely go down.
BigDaddy – Not Such A Big Deal
In short, as long as you are not engaged in "Black-hat SEO", BigDaddy itself is probably no cause for alarm. If your site has recently bounced around in Google's results, then you will notice that things have probably returned to normal in the last week or so, and your rankings have probably improved a little bit.
Moving forward, in the next few weeks you can expect changes to your PageRank, and perhaps deeper crawls by Google's new spider, "Mozilla Bot". In the next few months there will likely be a number of smaller updates, mostly pertaining to issues like Flash content and niche-specific algorithm changes.
As with all algorithm changes, there is no reason to panic just because "BigDaddy" blew through town. Like hurricanes in the real world, algo changes blow a lot of loose material around; but if your website's foundation is sound, you will weather the storm and be ready for business once the storm has passed.

5 Types of Blog Posts for More Traffic
You never know whether you’re blog posts will bring you traffic. One thing you could say is that traffic is unpredictable. You can never pinpoint the exact reason why one of your posts brings more traffic than another one. However, you can see the “basic” reason why people like one article better than another. Over the constant research I did for a company, I found that five types of blog posts will generate more traffic than any others.
The best thing is that it doesn’t really matter what topics you choose to address. These types of blog posts will generate traffic, comments, linkbacks, and social media syndication for all topics. They continue to work over and over again even if the information has been written before. Don’t just write content, but write content in a way that brings traffic. Here are my five types of blog posts that will get you more traffic:
1. Numbered Post or Round-Up Post
A numbered Post and a round-up post are close to the same thing. They can also be known as list posts. This is because they typically contain a list of topics, ideas, sources, etc. Generally these are one of the easiest posts to write.
A lot of people do not use a numbered post but instead just list their ideas. However, they should always put a number of how many different ideas, topics, sources, etc. that is used in their posts. Why? Because people love these kind of blog posts. They love them for many different reasons and I have written a complete article about numbered posts.

This is actually one of my favorite kind of posts and it will sure bring you loads of traffic. There are many different ways to be controversial when writing an article. Having a strong opinion on something is okay even if people do not agree with you. That is basically the point. When you get on topics such as is it professional or not to disclose your online earnings, tell people whether a link is an affiliate link or not, whether it’s okay to photoshop your feeds subscriber count, etc. you’re tapping into controversial topics.

If you are writing about the Constitution then I am sure you have a lot of controversy. You have abortion, gun rights, gay rights, etc. Everyone seems to have strong feelings about those which will make them read your article and they will likely put their two cents in by commenting.
4. The Motivational Post
The motivational Post is one of the most compelling types of posts to blog about. Getting your readers motivated or excited is much more powerful than a post that provides entertainment for the few minutes it took people to read the article. Even though telling people how much you have made blogging is controversial, it can still get people motivated to make money also. They are more likely to leave more excited than anything.
It is possible that visitors and readers that get motivated and excited from a blog post will return to your blog. That is what you want the most so why not do it. That is why it is still one of the most compelling types of blog post today.

A numbered Post and a round-up post are close to the same thing. They can also be known as list posts. This is because they typically contain a list of topics, ideas, sources, etc. Generally these are one of the easiest posts to write.

I realize that at this point this blog is pretty small time but I'm hopeful that it can grow to be something significant and helpful for people. For the past few weeks I've been tossing the idea of moving to my own domain around (my apologies for the recent lack of content while I tossed the idea around). After some thought I've decided that its time to move to my own domain. At this point I'm not certain what the domain will be but I should know in the next week or two. In the interim I plan on continuing to post here a little more and then once I've secured the domain and web hosting (anyone have a favorite?) I'll copy the content from here to the new site.
In light of my decision I wanted to take a minute to address why I'm moving and hopefully encourage others to do the same. My first and primary reason for the move is to allow this site to develop its own personality. It seemed to me that continuing to host on blogspot labels the site as being somewhat amateurish and doesn't leave much room to become any sort of authoritative source on increasing traffic to a blog. I'm also moving because I want to have the flexibility that having your own web space provides.
It seems that the longer I would have waited to move the hard the move would have been so I decided that the time was now. My own domain will cost about $8 and then a year of hosting can be just a few bucks a month, easily worth it I think.

getting traffic from your listing is altogether a different story. And now with it's new annual recurring payment policy
you have to be extra careful while submitting your site for a review.
Here are 8 things to keep in mind while submitting your site to Yahoo!
1) Selecting your domain name is the most vital step in getting a top ranking in Yahoo! and also other directories
like Dmoz and Looksmart.
Make sure your domain name is "Keyword Rich". You can make your domain keyword rich by simply inserting hyphens to separate words in your domain name. Yahoo! gives more relevance to sites with keywords in their domain name.
Take our domain name for example: http://www.home-based-business-opportunities.com/
It is made up of 4 different high-in-demand keywords: "Home Based Business", "Home Business", "Home Business Opportunities", "Home Based Business Opportunities".
While crafting your domain name, even you should try to keep your domain name such that it is made up of one, 2-4 words main or "parent" keyword; which in turn is made up of 2-4 high-in-demand "child" keywords.
You may or may not get a top ranking for all your targeted keywords but you can be sure of getting one for your main or "parent" keyword (If you do everything else right).
Even if you have to get a separate domain name for this purpose, GET IT! It is absolutely crucial for your ranking.
2) Sites which are placed higher in directory structure are given more relevance than sites which are placed lower or
deeper.
For example a site listed in category - B2B/Business_Opportunities will be given more relevance than a site listed in category - B2B/Business_Opportunities/Directories
